Welcome to Veteran Brands. By accessing or using our platform and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing the platform, or using any of our Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.
2. Description of Services
Veteran Brands is a marketplace connecting consumers with veteran-owned businesses. We provide a platform for listing, discovering, and engaging with veteran-owned products, services, and experiences. We do not directly sell products or facilitate payments between consumers and businesses.
3. Account Registration
You must:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Keep your account credentials secure and not share them with others
- Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
- Be at least 18 years old to create an account
4. Partner Eligibility and Conduct
Partners (businesses listed on the platform) must be veteran-owned and operated. By registering as a partner, you represent and warrant that:
- The business is owned by one or more honorably discharged veterans or active-duty service members
- All information provided is accurate and not misleading
- Listings comply with all applicable laws and do not infringe on third-party rights
- You will maintain the confidentiality of subscription and payment information
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Misrepresent veteran ownership or military affiliation
- Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
- Use the platform to spam, harass, or defraud others
- Attempt to circumvent security measures or gain unauthorized access
- Scrape or harvest data without prior written consent
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
6. Subscription and Payments
Partner subscriptions are billed monthly. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial months.
7. Intellectual Property
The Veteran Brands name, logo, platform design, and all associated content are owned by Veteran Brands, Inc.. You may not use our intellectual property without prior written permission. By submitting content to the platform (listings, images, descriptions), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with our Services.
8. Disclaimers
Our Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy of partner listings, the quality of products or services offered by partners, or uninterrupted access to the platform. Transactions between consumers and businesses are solely between those parties.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Veteran Brands, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraud, or any other reason at our discretion. You may close your account at any time from your profile settings.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations.
12. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
